Kay-C is a UK rapper/ producer/ songwriter. In recent years the talented musician has performed in front of thousands at various venues, concerts, events and showcases up and down the country such as Open Mic UK, Live and Unsigned etc. Last year Kay-C performed at events such as Astonbury alongside many acts including Wretch 32, Devlin, Griminal, Yasmin, Starboy Nathan, Zane Lowe amongst others.
In 2008, Kay-C was one of thirty musicians selected from Manchester to take part in the British Urban Collective, a nationwide youth music project that empowers young people to write, record and promote their own albums for independent release under expert guidance. After review of some of his songs from the project, BBC Radio 1Xtra stated “The sounds of these tracks are very now and fresh and are on par with what major label artists are releasing”.
Kay-C has always been involved in music even from an early age and as child he was a member of one of the choirs which performed in front of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2nd on her Golden Jubilee. In the summer 2009 Kay-C was also fortunate enough to have performed for the former Prime Minister of England, Gordon Brown at Lancaster House in London. Kay-C is currently balancing his time between education and music. Expect big things from this for this talented young man in the near future... Watch this space!
